Self Care

Self care is part of our daily routines.  But, sometimes life gets a little hectic and our self care routine gets tossed aside.

That's why it's so important to practice our self care routines with intention, knowing that this routine will help keep us from arriving at a state of burnout.  How can we assure that this does not occur?

By simply slowing down and practicing extra self care. Yes, you heard correctly, extra self care.  What is extra self care?  Well, it's the idea that we do our self care and then some so that we never arrive at a state of burnout.  So, if you like baths, then take some extra ones.  Like a good book? Then read more than necessary.  Can't get enough of good music? Then listen to more music than the norm.

We all know what to do when it comes to our self care routine and no one has the same routine as another person.  What for you seems relaxing and uplifting may be detrimental to another.  By adding more of what's good for your self care into your life, you have the ability to feel so good about yourself that you will overflow with wellness should something hard to deal with come your way.

Life gets busy. Days get hectic.  Stress creeps in.  By practicing extra self care you will be more than prepared for anything that comes your way.
